A view into the outer hypostyle hall of the Temple of Hathour. The temple complex 250 metres long and 80 metres wide was dedicated to the goddess of beauty,pleasure,love and family, cow-headed Hathour, whose face crowns each of the two dozen pillars in the Outer Hypostyle Hall. Friezes depict Roman emporers from Augustus to Nero paying homage to Hathour.
